Changes on the BBB Board
Our AGM in 2018 brought in some changes with our Executive Board. Please congratulate Sarah Wach, our new club President as well as Terrina Barsalou, our new club Treasurer! Deb Clark assumes the Past President role.
BBB's 2018-2019 shooting schedule has been released. Membership fees remain unchanged from the previous season. It is the perfect time to consider what you are you are doing for your fun activities starting in the fall. Don't just sit there and collect dust - join BBB!
2017/2018 Season
BBB is hosting our 2018 Indoor 18M Target Round competition
Register now for our Indoor 18M Target Round competition being held on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Register by Thursday, February 15, 2018.
2018 Indoor Mail Match Competition
From January 1 to March 31, 2018, BBB Members can participate in Archery Canada's Indoor Mail Match Competition.

Schedule released early
We've set the shooting schedule for the 2017/2018 season early this year. We wanted to give our members and prospective members the schedule so they can plan their upcoming year.
2016/2017 SEASON
Election News
With the new constitution, we have decided to elect two board members each year, each for a two year term - President and Treasurer one year... Vice President and Secretary the next. First we woud like to thank outgoing Treasurer, Heather Zueff, who has been a our treasurer since we brought in our first board. Thanks for all your hard work, Heather. Good luck with your education pursuits and we are most happy you will remain with the club as a regular member. Next, we would like to welcome incoming Treasurer, Sarah Wach. Sarah has been part of our club for quite a while now and we look forward to having her on the Exectuvie Board. Reelected as President, Deb Clark, remains in her position. The Vice-President and Secretary Members positions will be up for election/reelection in the 2017/2018 season. Thanks to all.

Be sure to check out our shooting schedule for the 2015/2016 shooting year. We hope to bring our members lots of fun and develop their archery skills along the way.
2014/2015 SEASON
2015 Indoor Provincial Target Championships
BBB was very well represented at the 2015 Indoor Provincial Target Championships. We had five of our members participate and each of them won a gold or silver medal in their respective classes. Well done, ladies! Congratulations to:

March 2015 Bingo
Hey ladies, we got the March 23, 2015 Bingo at Club Regent. Our volunteers need to be there at 4:15 PM. We are currently short a couple of volunteers and really need our members to step up. If you can't volunteer, do you have someone that you can send in your place (perhaps your significant other, your sibling, your best friend)? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!?! We need to know this week - by Friday, January 23, 2015, or we will have to forfeit at least part of the Bingo. Remember, doing Bingos is what is keeping your membership fees low. Send us an email at info@bowsbroadsbullseyesarchery.ca to let us know.
Upcoming Bingos
BBB needs your help. In order to keep our membership costs really low, our club does fundraising bingo at the two Casinos in Winnipeg. We are looking for some volunteers to staff one of the bingos. Our club will earn $900 for about three hours work (and we use the term work very loosely). Each of the following dates will be held at the Club Regent Casino:
- Friday, January 16, 2015 5:45 PM (two volunteers and a spare) - we shoot this night
- Tuesday, February 10, 2015 4:15 PM (four volunteers and a spare)
- Sunday, March 1, 2015 8:45 PM (four volunteers and a spare)
- Monday, March 23, 2015 4:15 PM (two volunteers and a spare)
Please let Wendy know which bingo(s) works for you. We have to act quickly as we are only allowed one bingo and if another club takes the one we want before us, we loose out.
2015 Indoor Mailmatch
From January 1 to March 31, our club members can participate in the Indoor Mailmatch. See Wendy R for more details.
2015 ABAM fees are due
Your Archers and Bowhunters Association of Manitoba (ABAM) fees are due for January 1st. You can fill out your form and give the club your money (cash or cheque). We can forward it to ABAM on your behalf. Alternatively, you can fill out your form and submit your payment directly to ABAM online.
Wind-up
Well our December windup will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at our usual time. We will be in the back section of the range - doing glow archery. But, we are also having a pot luck evening, so please bring something not too messy - we don't want to get our equipment all greasy. And remember, some of our ladies have allergies, so we encourage people to stay away from fish, onions, peppers (green, red, jalapeno, etc), strawberries as well as MSG (monosodium glutamate). If you have an allergy not listed, please let us know.
2013/2014 SEASON
BBB ladies rock!
These gals are good! Please give a hearty congratulations to Inga Thorsteinson for her Silver Medal finish and to Wendy Roberts for her Bronze Medal finish in the 2014 FCA Indoor Mail Match competition. Wendy also gets Gold in the Expert A class.
In First Place
Congratulations to BBB's Wendy Roberts, taking first place in Women Senior Recurve at the Provincial Championships at CFB Winnipeg, 17 Wing on March 16, 2014.
A Silver Medallist
Congratulations to BBB's very own Silver medallist, Inga Thorsteinson, who came in second in her division - Women's Senior Barebow at the 2014 Canadian Indoor Championships.
We need your help
We have another Bingo coming up on March 25, 2014 at Club Regent. We need five people to be there by 4 PM. As long as we have five, one person will be sent home as the spare. It is only a few hours work and it is a great fundraising opportunity for our club. If you can make it, please send us an email as soon as possible.
We are about to be famous... again!
Set your PVRs for 6 - 9 AM on Monday, March 3, 2014. Karen Rocznik of CTV Morning Live will be joining us at Heights for several segments during their show. Though we know it is not possible for everyone, it is important we have as many members there as possible. If you have made the commitment, we will see you there. If we haven't heard from you, you are more than welcome to show up at the last minute. As we always say - the more the merrier!
Elections
Elections for our Club Executive will take place at our March 7, 2014 shoot during the break. Deadline for nominations is February 28, 2014. Please submit your nomination by email only.
BINGO
Our club raises funds working Bingos arranged through ABAM. We will be sharing the Jan 28/14 bingo with another archery club. We also are looking for volunteers (spares) for the March 25th bingo! Email us if you can participate.
Mailmatch Competition
The Archery Canada Mailmatch competition is on right now until March 2014. Are you going to participate?
